can the effects of crystal meth on the face be reversed if the user quits?
I know this chick who used to model, then had some kids and got fat, then found meth (and abandoned her kids). She has been using crystal meth (smoking) for about three years and has aged about ten in the face. She has seduced and messed around with about every guy my friends and I know, including several married men and frankly, we can’t stand her. She claims she went to rehab last year but I just found out she’s smoking again.
So, will this skank’s face go back to being pretty (she WAS pretty, I’ll admit, and is still statuesque) id she stops using? I hope for her kid’s sake she does, but personally I’d like to see her keep looking worse and worse until no man will have her.
So, WILL a user’s face revert back to normal, or is the damage permanent?
Edited to add…the LGBT section was the first option given to me, and I thought a lot of people here would know the answer since, frankly, meth is prevalent in the gay community, and I AM bi, so I have some rights here.
Don’t answer the question by calling me names or saying I’m heartless. If you knew how many HOMES this girl has destroyed, you would know who the real heartless one is. She was a skank before she was on meth too. She is NOT a friend of mine, so I feel no desire to reach out to her, she’s only hurt me and everyone around me. If you don’t know the answer, just don’t answer.
To the person who said she’ll likely die…untrue. I know meth heads who are still doing it after FORTY years, every which way, and still haven’t died.
I’m looking for the opinion of a long term meth user who quit, or a doctor, or a dermatologist, or someone who actually knows. I’m genuinely curious about the ability of the face to regenerate. Please state your qualifications when answering.
