Taking Ibuprofen while on Ice/Crystal Meth?

She’ll be fine. Tell her she can take the Advil. I’ve never smoked meth, but I smoke crack often and I’ll take Tylenol or something after sometimes.

First of all, not only is taking methamphetamine illegal, it’s also extremely dangerous to one’s health. To mix those types of drugs with other drugs, be it ibuprofen, tylenol, or anything with codeine can produce a fatal result. Please don’t think I am trying to preach, because I am not. I am a firefighter and have seen many people die as a result of mixing any kind of medicine with illegal or illicit drugs. The best thing that she could do would be to stop taking the drugs before she takes her life. If you really want her to be safe, you need to speak up before something does happen. It would be the best thing that you could do for her.

Good grief. She’s smoking crystal meth and is worried about taking Ibuprofen? I think your friend needs to get her priorities straight.

To answer the question though, NO it’s not a good idea to take Ibuprofen or any other similar pain reliever as there’s a fairly high chance of a drug interaction which is quite likely to be a bad one.

If she’s got a headache after taking crystal meth, there’s a good chance she’s dehydrated. Drink water. PLAIN WATER. Best way to avoid headaches like these however, is to stop taking crystal meth. That stuff is dangerous and she’s taking her life in her hands every time she takes it.

Hey, why doesn’t she just put a single bullet in a 6-shot revolver, spin the barrel, point it at her head and pull the trigger?

Mixing prescription drugs, including ibuprofen, with illegal drugs is russian roulette – pure and simple. Ibuprofin has a whole page of known bad interactions with other drugs, let alone the unknown ones!

And just because some other moron says they did it and didn’t die or get ill, doesn’t mean it is safe. A few people have survived skydiving with their parachute failing to open. Does this mean we can jump out of a plane without one?
