Question by Phyllis: Odd, isn’t it, when xians go out of their way to label (put down) scientology as a cult?
When, in fact, there are two issues here they overlook:
1. The definition of the word cult. Go look it up at www.dictionary.com — xianity is a cult.
2. Xians like to view other “lesser” groups as cults, to put them down. Yet, scientology doesn’t have all the thousands of children in their “flock” that have been raped and molested by their “cult” leaders — like the xian and catholic cults have.
So, who’s the real messed-up group here?
The one with what we view as strang beliefs (or, really, strangER beliefs, given the ritual blood-drinking and flesh-eating that xians do each week…pretty strange stuff)…
OR
The one with all the church leaders who have raped and molested thousands of children over the years, and have complaints still coming in…
I won’t even go into the iconic xian cult leaders who indulge in crystal meth and gay massage therapists while they have a wife and family at home…

For SM’s mumblings: 1. No honey, there aren’t a million def’s of cult. There is one def of cult (go see the link I gave you) – one def, with 5 usages. They are all accurate, and all of them (except the medical usage) apply to BOTH scientology and xianity. And yes, I consider any group whereby thousands of children have been raped and molested by many of its leaders as “unorthodox” – also, the flesh-eating blood-drinking things they do – yeah, that’s whack, too.
2. If xians wish to keep claiming they have higher moral values, then they need to stop comparing themselves to the rest of the world by saying “they do it, too!” So what! Their LEADERS rape and molest kids! Not only that, but the churches then spend HUNDREDS of MILLIONS of DOLLARS defending them in court!!! Don’t blame them for it? They covered it up, then defended them later! Give me a break!! And xians/catholics don’t expel them, they pay them off, defend them, then move them somewhere else

Every community has a few bad human beings in them. Religious communities and even regular communities. “Mayors are found having affairs or drinking and driving but you don’t put down the entire democratic system do you?” I will, as soon as they claim that they have the higher moral values over everyone else, like xians and catholics CONSTANTLY do.
