After being diagnosed with lung cancer in the first season, Walt teams up with a former student, Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), to cook crystal meth. Walts goal is to make enough money to support his family after he dies. It’s a noble goal, but when Walt is suddenly cured of cancer in season two, any remnants of nobility have long since evaporated.
