Question by Captain Cabinets: Was “Less than Zero” really written during an 8 week crystal meth binge?
In the prologue of his later book “Lunar Park”, Bret Easton Ellis states that he wrote “Less than Zero” (the first draft at least) during an 8 week crystal meth binge on his bedroom floor. However, Ellis is pretty lenient with the truth in this book, and it is hard to tell if he was making it up. Does anyone know if it is true or not?
