My ex-wife and I got divorced in New York in Feb 2004 my daughter was 2 1/2 at the time. Our custody agreement simply says she has custody and I have visitation every Saturday from 10am to Sunday at 6pm and any other time agreed to by both parties, drop off and pick up at the paternal grandmothers house, that’s it. After we got divorced, we did the back and forth thing, on and off for about 18 months. She had no where to live so she lived at mother’s house for a while and at my sister, since she had absolutely no contact with her family. During this time we were still involved with each other and I saw my daughter almost every day and had communication with my ex every day. In Oct of 2005, I started seeing someone else and she moved out of my mothers house and in with a “friend” because she was pissed off about the fact that I didn’t want to be with her. She was trying to keep my daughter from me and wouldn’t bring her to my mother’s house for my weekends, she changed her phone number, so I went to where she was living and the girl she was living with told me she had took her stuff and moved out. I contacted what friends I knew she had, everyone said they didn’t know where she was and like I said she had no contact with her family. She made no contact for 3 months but it Jan of 2006 she called me and told me how sorry she was for leaving, she had started seeing someone and this guy convinced her to move to Kansas, that he was abusing her and wouldn’t let her contact me. She wanted to come back to New York so I sent her the money to get on a bus and come back (I really just wanted my daughter back in NY). I called the number she had called me from back later that same day and it was disconnected, I never heard from my ex again. I never stopped looking for, through every way I knew how but it was as if she had fallen off earth. Last Sept I got an alert on mylife that someone with my ex first name and right age but different last name had looked for me so I looked her up through a bunch of different sites and found out it was her. I started checking her new name and found out she got married right after the last time she contact me and changed her name. I found out she was arrested 3 times in Arizona in 2008 for multiple (11) counts of identity theft, possession of crystal meth, a weapon. I obtained a copy of the arrest report and court records. She has an active warrants in Arizona because she never went to court for this stuff. I found out the guy she married has a long record of violent offenses. I found her on Facebook and got to see pictures of my daughter, she looks dirty, uncared for, no sheets on the beds, sheets over the windows, pics of guns, gang stuff on her facebook. Her new BF (different then her husband, who she is still married too) she is with now has convictions for possession of crystal meth. I found an active address for her in Oklahoma. I went to New York ( I live in Pennsylvania now) filled papers because I figured that’s where the original order is out of, served her and she responded said she has been in Oklahoma for 3 years, she says I told her to leave and didn’t want any contact (not true). Judge dismissed it and said jurisdiction is now in Oklahoma and I have to file there. I really don’t have $ 5,000, plus for attorneys fee but I am very worried for my daughters safety, I have waited all theses years to find her and want to see her and have a relationship with her (I ultimately want full custody, given the circumstances). What do I do?

What are you waiting for. Hire an Attorney and seize your child from this mayhem lifestyle at once!! I don’t know what your fees will be, but whatever the cost. It will have been the BEST investment you’ll ever make. Do it immediately. I pray it’s not too late for your daughter. God Bless & GL
