I was cleaning my 11 yr old son’s room, and under his bed i found 34 mg of crystal meth, 8 ounces of strawberry meth and 6 leaches for slomming. Hes going into his school’s rehab and idk if i should send him to our towns correction center. What should i do??

I am a single father of a two year old girl. My ex and I split because she wouldn’t quit using drugs. At first it was marijuana then she started getting real skinny. I caught her shooting up and since she had custody, I called DHS and she admitted she had been injecting crystal meth.

I now have custody and she’s been ordered to rehab. She now says she is going. mind you I got custody about 10 months ago. She still has not completed it, and has told me that she had been injecting heroin for the last few months prior to getting to rehab. I asked her if she could pass a drug test and she told me the only thing in her system is marijuana, but has quit that now.

My attorney told me not to let her see our daughter without professional supervision. She tries to guilt trip me in to seeing her, and to an extent it’s working. I told my ex that I would help her pay for the visit, but she had to schedule. She never has.

I want my daughter to know her mother. What should I do?

If I was arrested for drugs and then got let out for rehab (poss of crystal meth) and its been 7 years which i have cleaned my life up, got married, got a professional education and changed my life but still I am wanted for this felony drug possession, is there a statute of limitation for this.. I had 3 yrs over my head if i didn’t complete the Delancey Street program. Although i learned the tools necesary the month i was there before getting kicked out over an arguement to stay clean forever. Any valid feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Ok so my best friend is 13 (i’m 15) and she’s dating this guy who’s 16. Bryan(her bf) and I have been talking since about thanksgiving and i’ve gotten to know him pretty well. He calls me his little sister and I call him my big brother. Bryan is currently in rehab for a Crystal Meth addiction. He and I talk almost everyday and he’s getting better slowly, but I talked to his younger brother(long lost, they just met) and he said that Bryan talks about me constantly and tht he thinks Bryan is in love with me. I’ve done as much as I can to help Bryan fight his addiction and I love him like a brother. I really don’t want to hurt Lindsey, but I think I’m starting to love him as more than a brother. Help!!!!
He’s not my actual brother….my best friend is like my sister so i considered him my brother….but getting to know him i’ve realized he’s more than a friend to me.

I partied 99percent of the time outside the house. She has her story I am have mine but thebottom line is ‘you don’t put your kid out onto the street’ ..right? My life was well rounded but not from her perspective. For the last seven years I’ve been pushed in and out of recovery because of being homeless. I wish she could see that it belongs in me and all the preasure she pugts on me go help me is not a good thing to do.

He says his foster mom is very anal and wont let him hang out or call me since im in my late 20’s.

Plus, he started dating a 23-year-old ‘recovering’ crystal-meth addict he found from his group therapy. His foster mom allows that relationship but not ours. I’ve always been clean and sober.

Anyway, my friend is bi-polar, ADD, anxiety, h.s. dropout, parents never married and split, and he now works at micky dees full time.

I went to see him at his work and he basically acknowldged my presence for 5 seconds, but he wouldnt come out to talk to me. He went in the back hiding.

My question is: do you think he will contact me when he “gets out of foster care” next month or is he blowing me off because he has a new bf or some other reason?

He was only addicted to weed by the way.

I had to go to my local hospital the other day for a terrible migrain. when i was in my room and the nurse came in to ask the normal questions, i admitted to her i smoke marijuana often, During my exam they had me take a urine test, telling me that it was to check for infections, when the results came back my father had already left and my husband was outside, having a smoke, the doctor and the nurse gained up on me, and told me i had a meth (crystal meth) problem, and that i needed to be placed in rehab, First off, I gave no consent for a DRUG TEST, and I have only done meth once, and didnt like it, i expressed that to the doctor when he started, and he told me he felt like i was lying to him and i needed to get help, my husband walked in the room and the nurse and the doctor didnt say another word. Was it legal for them to take a urine test, and not get consant from me to have a drug test?
as for the comment “cut out the marijuana lady, if you have the curage to” Sorry, but MARIJUANA IS MY CHOICE, AND MILLIONS OF OTHER’S TO. I KNOW MANY PEOPLE WHO SMOKE AND HAVE UPSTANDING JOBS, MAYBE YOU SHOULD TRY AND NOT KNOCK IT TIL YOU DO….

My best friend is a guy I have known since kindergarten. He has a very messed up family in a rich, sort of soap opera kinda way. His older brother was heavy into drugs and drinking but got him into it as well. He brother is a successful rehab story, but im afraid my best friend is not. He was even heavier into it than his brother was. To go along with it, he is clinically depressed, bipolar, and suicidal. Me and little sister are all he has left. He hides things from his little sis though in order to protect her. I am his only friend left. He went to rehab after od on crystal meth. He almost died that night. He is almost out of rehab but a few weeks ago, his family took a 3 week safari to Africa. While he was there he relapsed. He took 12 perscription pain killers all at once and then almost killed himself, the entre bottle of ambien was in his mouth, he just decided swallowing wasnt the best way to spite his mom. When he called me from the payfone in the airport and told me this, i
lost it and started crying. I tried to hold it together, to be strong for him. He said he wanted to take me back to africa. that he would, when he got out. just us two, and that i was all he had left. I can’t speak to him or even write him now. He’s obviously back in a rehab that isn’t working. I just am sooo scared that ill get a call saying he finally managed to kill himself. Im so scared. I dont know whether or not he’ll be lliving or dead the next morning. I don’t know if i’ll ever see him again. Some one, please, help me to deal with this. Im so scared. I miss him so much.
