People use Meth or abuse any substance (including alcohol) for the same basic reason, Its called self medicating.

They are in pain emotional and or physical. Alot of people with mental health issues use drugs and alcohol and some people are more prone to be addicts or alcoholics than others it is inherited, that’s why some get addicted after only one use or drink.
In drug treatment, Counseling is a huge part of recovery very few addicts are treated with medication.
Addiction is a deep mental and emotional problem that consumes a persons life.
No one chooses to be an addict, this is a devastating disease
especially for the addicts family.
So if you never tried drugs Please don’t no good will ever come from it.
I watched my Boyfriend of four years Destroy himself. There was no stopping him I couldnt the cops couldnt no one could save him from himself.
He went from 235lbs to 115lbs in a year, He made himself retarded by doing huge amounts of drugs at a time. He terrorized me to the point I left he was paranoid. He died wearing a diaper.

Meth is highly, highly addictive. Crank reprocesses your brain cells. There becomes a physical craving that is very, very hard to overcome. Meth is an ugly drug. It turns the user into a high/low manic/depressive character. When you are high, you are awake and rushing. For hours.
It ages its users. Teeth fall out. If you want to die, try crank.

Been there, done that! stay away from it! if you want to zoom stay with old fashioned cocaine! Meth just alters your perception of time and reality. My partner almost dug his eyeball out with tweezers Because he thought that his contact lens went behind his eye, ( He had already removed his contacts several hours before!) He was lucky and just scratched his retina slightly.

The same reason people are attracted to other controlled substances.

Meth attracts people who are looking for a high like theyve never had.

It is also cheap and almost anyone can make it. Its often called “the poor man’s crack”.

If anyone is thinking of trying it, I would suggest typing in “meth mouth” in google and hitting the “images” tab. Maybe that will change your mind if common sense isnt enough.

Can’t answer that as far as addiction but as a former recreational user only.

I’ve cleaned (in fine detail) just about everything I owned twice!

By the way, recreation was fun but, don’t own anything anymore!

it is most likely that another drug they are doing is not enough high so they need something stronger.

B/c it’s cheap and it lasts a long time compared to other drugs(like coke)….it’s also very addictive.I would also add that it is easy to make……ingredients are available to the public.

Personally why some one would…I have no idea…..have you seen the teeth of a meth addict?…EWWWWWWWWWWWW

umm ….the high!!! its such a feeling that you cant get anywhere else!!! Nothing gives you a high like it!! people say to get high on life but its so totally not the same high!!! its pretty sweet!!!But its totally not good for you!! im not suggesting that u do it…or any body do it but it is a high that you cant get anywhere else!!!!

Crystal meth transforms it;s users into something non-human. I have no idea why people would want to try it. maybe they are uneducated to the dangers of it. I saw this show about these two young lovers that were hooked on meth and they ended up dying out in the cold becuase they were soo f*** up they couldnt figure out how to get back to their car and had no idea where they were. They have 911 tapes of their last few hours, then they were found dead frozen to death a few miles away from their car. Scary stuff.
