Please Help Me With This One….?
Question by Disciple: Please help me with this one….?
What does it really mean to be judgmental? It just seems as if one cannot express his or her convictions without “judging” someone else. I thought being judgmental was to condemn the PERSON doing the act without really knowing the circumstances behind this person’s decisions. Merely stating that you are against something should not be considered judgmental, but it is these days. If I say, “Doing crystal meth is wrong” , is that considered judgmental? I’m condemning the act not the person. I already know the answer to this question but I want to get different perspectives. All perspectives welcome. Please…no rude answers.

I think being judgmental is mainly the idea of being too critical of others. Thinking drugs is wrong isn’t necessarily a judgmental act. I would consider someone judgmental if they made decisions without knowing all the facts, so I think you’re okay.
