On the surface, not very safe. But it would depend on that person ACTUALLY going through recovery, as in genuinely taking steps to recover, working through a program, getting the right help, etc, and someone just 'trying'. Sincerity and action is the key. Trust your instincts.

NOT Safe at all. Do some research. Meth is one of, if not THE, most destructive and addictive drugs ever used. There are just too many ways that these children could be endangered by being in the care of or arround a Meth addict.

Well Meth is one of the worst drugs out there and first and foremost no one should be around it but, recovering meth addicts are unpredictable with random mood swings and I would not have a child around them.

If he/ she is still using or slips here and there, then the child or children are at risk. If this is real, call CPS and notify them that their safety is at risk. If he/ she truly stopped using meth and is in recovery than the kids are in good hands.
