Methamphetamine Addiction

Question: Has anybody ever helped anyone kick a methamphetamine addiction?

Methamphetamine addition is physical and needs to be treated with willpower - you must want to stop, possibly with the aid of counter drugs to ease the withdrawal effects.

Yes, I have done a lot of intervention through my entire life. This is because I'm an interventionist. Intervention is the first step to recovery from drugs or methamphetamine addiction for this matter. We let people realize that they have problem and they need treatment. This would not be an easy step as most addicts would try every reason to deny that they have a problem. That is why it is very important that during the intervention family and friends fully supported the person we intervene.

A methamphetamine addiction is a very serious problem. Due to the severity of an addiction like this, the recovery process is very difficult. The best option is to check yourself into a rehabilitation center and get professional help. Detoxification followed by various treatments and programs will be the most likely way to kick the addiction.
