Crystal Meth Facts: What Type of Drug Could This Be?

Question by Ash91: What type of drug could this be?
I already knew that my ex boyfriend took ecstasy, but last time i went to his house he was trying to smoke something out of a light bulb by heating the bottom with a lighter, although there appeared to be nothing left.

He was complaining about how much it cost, and how little use he got out of it, so I gathered his drug use was a bit more serious than I thought. He tried to make me inhale a bit to try and find some and although I didnt, it smelled really strongly of chemicals. I thought it might be crystal meth or crack cocaine or something, but I’m not sure, I dont know much about drugs.

He has a lot of suppressed aggression, seems to be constantly irritated and has sudden, violent outbursts at even small upsets. Although he was fine when I first met him (just over 2 months), now if I ever upset him, he yells violently and shakes me even in public. His teeth are also extremely worn from grinding, which I assumed before was from the ecstasy.

He went on holiday with my family for two weeks and I know for a fact he didnt touch anything except alcohol during this time, so whatever it is he’s taking he is able to go for 2 weeks without noticeable cravings or withdrawal symptoms.

I really am quite worried about him and what possible danger I could be in, so any answers would help a lot, thanks.
No my parents haven’t noticed at all, even I find it weird how sort of…normal he was when I first new him. I’m not sure if that is him and he changes when he’s on drugs or if he just put on a really good act, but he really seemed like a good guy. Needless to say he’s dumped, I wasn’t happy even with the ecstasy use, which i really only just found out about as well.

Yeah, the teeth grinding is from the X. As for the light bulb substance, could be either crack or meth. Not to be a racist, but white people are more likely to go for the meth, so if he’s white. that would be my bet. Meth also increasing aggressiveness and irritability, but so does crack. Either one is highly addictive. Dump him or get help.
