Later, Walter and his student start selling the drugs to a drug distributer named Krazy-8. He misunderstands Walter to be an undercover cop and attempts to kill him. In order to save their lives, Walter and Jesse kidnap Krazy-8 and kill him. Walter gets highly disturbed as he has to break all his ties with Jesse. Once he gets back home, Walter discusses long term plans towards dealing with cancer with his family. Although, Walter wants to gradually succumb to his cancer rather than suffering from the side effects of chemotherapy. However, his family convinces him to undergo treatment and he is offered financial assistance from his rich friend, Gretchen as well as his brother-in-law; both of which he turns down.
